As we celebrate International Women’s Day, let’s honour the vital contributions of women across all sectors. Their resilience and spirit are pivotal in shaping our society. Women’s stories light the way forward for us all. At Al-Futtaim, women’s dedication to excellence, integrity, and collaboration is driving innovation and success across our growing business landscape.

Empowering women is more than a quest for gender equality; it’s about unleashing everyone’s potential in our society. I take immense pride in the fact that over 60% of our Emirati colleagues are female. In my role as Chairperson of the Al-Futtaim Group Emiratisation Council, I advocate for diversity, inclusion, and equal opportunities as cornerstones of women’s empowerment. Drawing from my own journey as a working mother, I recognize the unique challenges and immense value working mothers bring to the workforce. Their contributions deserve our unwavering support and recognition.

This International Women’s Day, let’s reaffirm our commitment to a society where every woman is respected and can fearlessly pursue her ambitions.
