STEP INTO THE SPIRIT OF RAMADAN WITH SHEIN THREADS OF JOY
SHEIN, a global online retailer of fashion, beauty, and lifestyle products, celebrates the holy month of Ramadan with the launch of their Threads of Joy initiative, in partnership with Kiswa, the regions leading upcycling movement. With the aim to foster the spirit of giving and spread joy, the campaign is part of SHEIN’s exciting line-up of Ramadan vibes – that includes the launch of the new Echoes of Arabia collection, the much-anticipated Ramadan sale and an exclusive pop-up store.
Customers across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Oman and Bahrain, are invited to take part in the initiative and contribute SHEIN clothes that they no longer need via a convenient pick-up service organized by Kiswa. With door-to-door service, Kiswa will sell the contributed items and recycle materials, to fund new clothing for those in need. The new clothing will then be distributed with the support of local NGOs. Kiswa has led the upcycling movement across the GCC since their launch in 2015 and their convenient doorstep pick-up service makes it simple to contribute clothing, as well as shoes and toys, which are repurposed to fund items for those less fortunate.
With the theme of ‘Second Chances, New Beginnings,’ Threads of Joy launches on the first day of Ramadan and will run for the entire month. Those who contribute pre-loved items as part of this campaign, will also receive SHEIN rewards to be used on their next shop online.
