Turkish Airlines, the airline that flies to more countries than any other in the world, has resumed its flights to Aleppo, which were suspended as of April 2012. Following the launch of flights to Damascus in January 2025, with the addition of Aleppo flights, the number of destinations that Turkish Airlines serves in Syria has increased to two.
Turkish Airlines will operate round-trip flights between Istanbul Airport and Aleppo International Airport three days a week on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays as of August 1, 2025. Starting on August 19, Aleppo flights will be operated 5 times per week, and beginning September 1, they will be operated daily.

With the reopening of our Aleppo route, we aim to strengthen economic and social ties between the two countries.
