Green Visa: This type of visas is designed for shorter visits to the UAE. With the duration of 5 years, the Green Visa is granted to professionals, business holders and distinctive freelancers.

Sponsored Visas: The Sponsored Visas are presented for expats who have job offers within the UAE. This is in addition to individuals coming to visit their families who live in the country. 

Retirement Visa: Launched to fulfill the requirements of retirees from various regions around the world who meet certain financial criteria. This visa is commonly valid for the period of 5 years.

Self-sponsorship: The authorities of the UAE have started offering visa holders some more independence, as some certain kinds of visas do not require the employer’s sponsorship.

A longer Grace Period: Another important feature the government of the UAE was keen to present is more flexibility in terms of the grace period of the visa. For example, the grace period to cancel a visa is extended to become up to 6 months.
