The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) has forecast generally fair weather conditions across the UAE over the next five days, with partly cloudy skies expected over eastern regions during afternoons and a gradual increase in temperatures.
According to the latest outlook covering May 5 to May 9, weather conditions will remain largely stable, accompanied by light to moderate winds shifting from northwesterly to southeasterly directions at speeds ranging between 10 and 20 km/h, occasionally reaching up to 30 km/h. Sea conditions are expected to remain slight in both the Arabian Gulf and the Oman Sea during the early part of the forecast period.
On Wednesday, humidity levels are likely to increase over some coastal areas, while skies remain mostly fair with cloud formation over eastern المناطق by afternoon. Winds may freshen at times, reaching speeds of up to 35 km/h, while sea conditions will stay slight.
Thursday is expected to bring similar conditions, with fair weather prevailing and occasional cloud cover. Winds will remain light to moderate but may strengthen intermittently, with seas ranging from slight to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and slight in the Oman Sea.
A slight and gradual drop in temperatures is anticipated on Friday, alongside continued fair weather. Winds are forecast to pick up, especially over marine areas, with speeds reaching up to 40 km/h. Sea conditions could become rough by afternoon in the Arabian Gulf, while remaining slight to moderate in the Oman Sea.
By Saturday, dusty conditions may develop at times due to stronger northwesterly winds, which could cause blowing dust and sand over land. Winds are expected to remain moderate to fresh, with speeds of up to 40 km/h. Sea conditions will turn moderate to rough in the Arabian Gulf and slight to moderate in the Oman Sea.
