Abu Dhabi, UAE — The UAE’s Ministry of Interior has called on motorists and residents to remain vigilant and strictly adhere to safety guidelines as unstable weather conditions continue to affect parts of the country.
In an advisory shared via its official account on X, the ministry urged drivers to reduce speed, follow traffic regulations and avoid flood-prone areas, including locations with water تجمع or fast-flowing valleys, to minimise the risk of accidents and vehicle skidding.
Authorities also warned against heading out to sea during adverse weather, highlighting the potential dangers posed by rough conditions. Residents were encouraged to take necessary precautions at home and stay updated through official communication channels.
The ministry emphasised the importance of avoiding the spread of rumours and relying solely on verified sources for information. Officials noted that public cooperation with these safety measures plays a critical role in protecting lives and property during periods of changing weather.
