UBF congratulates Emirates NBD on its 60th anniversary

On the occasion of the 60th anniversary of Emirates NBD, H.E. His Excellency, the Chairman of UAE Banks Federation, also emphasised that Emirates NBD had played a crucial role in strengthening the leadership of the banking sector since its establishment in 1963, when the late Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum signed the charter of incorporation of the National Bank of Dubai (NBD), becoming the first national bank in the UAE, which became Emirates NBD following the merger of NBD with Emirates International Bank in 2007.
