Witness live art in action at DIFC Art Nights

Visitors to the 15th edition of DIFC’s Art Nights are able to witness a unique live art exhibition from visiting artist Shahul Hameed. Shahul’s work ‘Eco-Urban Oasis’ is being completed live at DIFC Art Nights, with the artist using charcoal and natural pigments to create a work that demonstrates the juxtaposition between art and nature.

With over 50 artists participating and more than 180 creative art pieces, DIFC Art Nights has the theme of ‘Art for change: Building a sustainable future’ and visitors are able to attend its final night on Friday, March 17. Families and their budding artists are encouraged to come along and take part in the complimentary art workshops for children that will be taking place throughout the evening.

DIFC Art Nights is a key art exhibition in Dubai’s culture calendar and visitors will also be able to see exhibits from celebrated international and local artists. This edition also includes works from trailblazing Emirati photographer and artist Jassim Al Awadhi and Abda Fayyaz, whose art reflects sustainability and connectedness with nature, as well as live music and performances.

DIFC Art Nights is an opportunity for industry leaders, the public and art enthusiasts to take part in the discussion about sustainability in the art world, a key topic for 2023 with the UAE hosting COP28 in Dubai this year.

As always, the event is free and open to the public.
