Obvious Technologies embarks on substantial growth in the GCC region

Dubai UAE, 19th January 2023 – With the GCC region increasingly seeking to deploy world-class security solutions across both critical public and private sector assets, and in doing so, proving to be an attractive market for leading security solutions providers France-headquartered Obvious Technologies is strengthening its regional presence with the appointment of key commercial, marketing and engineering personnel to empower the security startup’s operations in Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman and UAE.

According to Naoufal El Ouali, Co-Founder and CEO of Obvious Technologies, the company’s sales and marketing regional team is currently double-digit strong, with new employee additions due to continue in 2023 and beyond.

Obvious Technologies specialises in providing efficient planning and real-time response capabilities for special events such as the FIFA World Cup, daily incidents involving city traffic, or major crises such as a natural calamity, in which time is of the essence, and where any delayed action can result in damage to life, property, or reputation.

Flagship OODA platform

Obvious Technologies’ flagship product offering is OODA (Observe. Orient. Decide. Act.) an innovative proprietary 3D data visualisation platform and command and control (C2) software suite that is vastly different from any traditional Physical Security Information Management (PSIM) platform.

The OODA platform was designed to accelerate the access to useful information, as well as the decision-making process throughout the chain of command. Using artificial intelligence capabilities, OODA fuses data from multiple sensors and transforms them, in real time, into actionable information for decision and action.

Equipped with a powerful big data analytics engine and AI capabilities OODA fuses data from multiple sensors and transforms them, in real time, into actionable information for decision and action. The platform does this by leveraging unique real-time 3D data visualisation, intuitive user experience and digital twin technologies while seamlessly integrating with security, safety, communications, and business systems. In particular, OODA is aimed at security and mission-critical operators and decision-makers.

Live at Intersec 2023

Obvious Technologies is a key exhibitor at Intersec 2023 – the world’s leading trade event for the homeland security, commercial and perimeter security, fire and rescue, safety and health, and cybersecurity industries – taking place at Dubai World Trade Centre from January 17-19, 2023.

In an exclusive interview with MENews247 at Intersec 2023, Ouali said the highlight of his company’s presence at the key trade event was the opportunity to showcase live demonstrations of the OODA suite based on real-world situations to potential customers from both public and private sectors in the GCC region.

The OODA suite is credited with spearheading Obvious Technologies’ growing footprint in the GCC region, and following strategic partnerships signed in Qatar and the UAE for the company’s 3D data visualisation platform featuring advanced security management, incident response and C2 capabilities for mission-critical operations Saudi Arabia’s National Security Services Company (SAFE) has signed on OODA for its new control centre located in Riyadh. OODA now enhances SAFE’s unique one-stop shop managed security services’ portfolio that encompasses strategic and critical facilities, venues, assets and infrastructure in the MENA region.

Following a non-exclusive partnership agreement signed between Obvious Technologies and Azur Drones, a European leader in autonomous surveillance UAVs, to offer an innovative combined solution for public safety and mission-critical organisations, in France and internationally, particularly in the GCC region, Azur Drones’ fully autonomous Skeyetech drone can now be operated via the OODA platform to report an alert, provide an aerial viewpoint or share valuable data whenever incidents occur, thus helping security teams save time, saving people lives and limiting infrastructure losses.

The integrated OODA-Skeyetech solution especially secures critical sites in sectors such as nuclear, oil & gas, ports, airports, as well as helping make cities and communities safer.
