ABCC promotes delegation of Brazilian startup executives

UAE, March 06, 2023- The Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce promoted a delegation of executives from seven Brazilian startups in the UAE recently. The delegation’s visit aimed at exploring various avenues to deploy their solutions in the Arab market. During the visit, the executives took part in a number of training sessions and visits to innovation ecosystems and free zones that specialise in technology firms, as well meetings with Brazilian diplomatic representatives in the UAE.

The highlight of the visit was The Demo Days, which included pitch sessions enabling the companies to showcase their solutions to potential partners that can facilitate their entrance into the Arab markets.

Karen Mizuta, Organiser of the mission and Head of the Arab Brazilian Chamber innovation hub, the CCAB Lab, said: “During the visit, companies got the opportunity to explore various avenues in innovation ecosystems, examine how well their products are adopted in Arab markets, determine the need for potential adaptations, find previously untapped prospects and fortify relationships with potential partners in the region.”

Executives from diverse companies were part of the delegation. The companies included Coill, GreenTech company offering companies the opportunity to support sustainable projects benefiting small landowners in the Amazon and contributing to forest conservation; Easy Hash a fintech that operates in tokenised digital assets; The Fienile Group, an AgTech firm that developed an energy supplementation system that has increased the productivity of different types of cultivation; Orbital, a consulting firm that specialises in digital transformation with expertise in the development of process-digitisation products and services; Youdz, a real estate company that offers rental solutions with high quality amenities that enhance the experience of guests or tenants; Silva Schutz, a law firm specialising in serving transnational technology firms; and Itaipu Technology Park, an innovation ecosystem supported by Itaipu Bi-Nacional.
