Copenhagen Suborbitals offers its speakers’ expertise in lecture bookings

Copenhagen Suborbitals, the crowd-funded non-profit organisation, has opened lecture bookings where its senior team members, who are experts in space exploration and technological innovation, will offer their wealth of knowledge through lectures, inspirational talks, and events.

These hi-tech veterans have conducted more than 100 lectures worldwide over the past 10 years, captivating audiences on various platforms.

The speakers navigate both deep-dives and inspirational discourses, offering a unique perspective on crowd funding, managing large-scale volunteer projects, fostering innovation, and navigating technology disruption.

Copenhagen Suborbitals is the world’s only crewed amateur spaceflight programme – driven by crowd-funding and volunteer spirit.

Every lecture booking directly supports Copenhagen Suborbitals’ project and its ongoing fund-raising programme.

The organisation is located in Copenhagen, Denmark, with supporters across the world. From 2011 to the present day, the group has designed and flown six rockets and capsules from its floating launch site in the Baltic Sea.

Inspired volunteers

Comprising a team of 60 inspired volunteers, Copenhagen Suborbitals’ goal is to fly an amateur astronaut to space, with a safe return to Earth – without any governmental or corporate backing – making Denmark, a nation of less than six million people, only the fourth nation and the first in Europe to launch humans into space on a domestic rocket, joining the ranks of Russia, the US, and China.

The organisation’s staff includes blacksmiths, physicists, rocket scientists and software engineers, to name a few dedicated specialists.

Spare time work

The non-for-profit staff works in their spare time, around the margins of their regular workdays, and, as of 2021, Copenhagen Suborbitals was the only active space programme to launch rockets from a floating launch site in the Black Sea.

National space agencies correspond with the team members, with the organisation’s designs have inspired conventional spaceflight projects, and its innovations have helped newspace companies develop their own test processes.
