Cloudera introduces industry accreditations for its global partners

Cloudera has unveiled a raft of new sales, technical, and enterprise data industry accreditations for its business partners globally.

Cloudera specialises in digital transformation for the world’s largest enterprises.

Part of the California-based data management provider’s redesigned Cloudera Partner Network (CPN) programme, the new accreditations validate Cloudera’s partners’ understanding of the value of Cloudera’s data control solutions, while also expanding their knowledge of Cloudera’s products, programmes, tools, and other resources.

CPN enables partners to go to market faster and provides industry-leading incentives and promotions aligned with partner business and sales models.

Valid for a period of two years, the newly introduced accreditations are free of charge for Cloudera’s partners.

Global benchmark

All the accreditations are issued by Credly by Pearson, the global credentialing platform that hosts the largest and most-connected digital credential network.

In particular, the new enterprise data industry accreditations facilitate Cloudera’s partners in the Middle East region and globally to develop foundational enterprise data skills and knowledge, build credibility with end-customers and peers, and earn points toward CPN membership and benefits.

Ahmed Tayeh, Partner Manager – Middle East & Turkey, Cloudera, said: “It has always been crucial for us to enable customers to do more with their data. Enabling a robust partner ecosystem is critical to this goal and encompasses cloud, platform, software, resellers, and systems integrators.

“We bring customers the skills, resources, and technologies to turn their data strategies into action. With Cloudera Data Platform, companies can start to leverage machine learning and Artificial Intelligence based on enterprise data they can trust,” Tayeh concluded.

Industry focus

Cloudera’s new sales accreditation encompasses easy learning for partners’ sales professionals.

This accreditation programme enables partners to demonstrate a thorough understanding of the value of the Cloudera Data Platform (CDP) and their ability to position it as a solution for today’s enterprise data management business challenges.

The data management specialist’s technical accreditations validate the partners’ technical professionals’ knowledge and understanding of CDP.

These accreditations follow a tiered approach to content rigour and assessment that progresses from foundational to advanced.

The technical accreditations are specially created for Cloudera partners’ pre-sales engineers, solution and data architects, platform admins, and data practitioners.

Cloudera’s industry accreditations aim to increase the company’s partners’ knowledge of industry verticals and seek to complement the foundational accreditations for partners’ sales and technical professionals.

The industry accreditation courses are currently available only for telecom, financial services, and manufacturing verticals.

Insurance, retail, and healthcare accreditations will be added later this year.
