Lexar lines up secure data memory and storage solutions at GITEX Global 2023

New range includes microSD cards, internal SSDs, DRAM, portable SSDs

Lexar, a leading global manufacturer of flash memory solutions, is highlighting its latest secure data memory and storage solutions at GITEX Global, the world’s largest tech and startup show held from October 16-20, 2023, at Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC).

Especially for GITEX Global 2023, the San Jose, California-headquartered company is taking the lid off its newly expanded portfolio of secure data memory and storage solutions designed for professional photographers, videographers, gaming professionals, content creators and PC enthusiasts.

Specific-use products

Lexar’s new product range includes microSD cards, internal SSDs, DRAM, and portable SSDs designed to work with sports camcorders, tablets, smartphones, and drones.

The Lexar portfolio features high-speed performance and higher memory capacities, allowing users to capture, access, play video/games and transfer high-definition multimedia files, including 4K video, at superfast speeds.

Fissal Oubida, General Manager of Middle East, Africa, and the Indian Subcontinent, Lexar, said: “GITEX Global is an opportunity for Lexar to highlight our commitment to the Middle East and Africa region. We are expanding our presence and market reach in the area through our ecosystem of partners.

“Our participation at GITEX Global not only allows us to reinforce our existing relationships and build new ones, but it also allows us to showcase our latest memory and storage technologies that aim to boost productivity for our customers while also enabling them to store and access their data securely,” said Oubida.

Rising demand

He added: “The increasing penetration of technologies such as artificial intelligence and the Internet of Things, the proliferation of smartphones and laptops and the steady decline in the prices of consumer storage devices, such as HDD and SSD, are some factors driving the Middle East and Africa data storage market.

“Furthermore, the digitisation of information in residential and commercial places, along with surging usage of mobile computing devices such as laptops, smartphones and tablets, are significantly contributing to the rising demand for next-generation memory solutions that can securely store huge amounts of data, and load, reload and identify relevant data in real-time,” Oubida concluded.

At GITEX Global 2023, Lexar is exhibiting in Booth D1, Hall 1, DWTC.
