AGBI assembles international panel of experts

Arabian Gulf Business Insight (AGBI), the next-generation business news platform, has announced it will host an exclusive, invite-only VIP reception that will convene some of the brightest minds from around the world to discuss emerging trends and opportunities brought by artificial intelligence (AI).

Taking place from 6:30pm-9:30pm at DIFC’s Capital Club on 15 November, the “Cocktails, Canapes and Artificial Intelligence” event is sponsored by Oliver Wyman, and will see a specially invited audience of senior business leaders from the UAE join a live panel of leading experts from the US, UK, Mena and Europe who will discuss actionable insights on how AI is set to affect societies and industry in the region.

Ethical considerations related to the use of AI, the measurable benefits of deploying this technology, and possible roadblocks to integration are among the topics to be discussed by the speakers, who will be announced in the near future.

James Drummond, Editor-in-chief of AGBI, said: “We are delighted to be hosting this special reception and welcoming the UAE’s industry leaders to explore the opportunities that AI will bring to different sectors and offer insights into the evolving trends from around the world.

“The Middle East is keenly embracing AI, with governments, corporates and start-ups investing in research, development and implementation of the emerging technology. The region’s dynamic approach to utilising AI across different sectors underscores its commitment to becoming a global technology hub and we look forward to welcoming our invited guests to join the conversation in November.”

Arabian Gulf Business Insight’s AI reception is the first in a series of events that will encourage open dialogue and knowledge-sharing to the benefit of all guests and speakers.
