Cloudera to host ‘Evolve New York City’ on November 2 for global data managers
The industry event begins with a keynote by futurist Gerd Leonhard
More than 30 globally eminent data and analytics leaders will speak at ‘Evolve New York City 2023’ – Cloudera’s flagship global customer event – at The Glasshouse, 660 12th Avenue in New York City on November 2, 2023.
Cloudera – a world leader in delivering a hybrid data platform with secure data management and portable cloud-native data analytics – is organising the in-person event for senior data management experts under the central theme of ‘Data anywhere, innovation everywhere’.
Co-hosted by AWS, IBM, and Intel, and with Accenture, Dell Technologies, Red Hat, and Talend as platinum partners, Evolve NYC 2023 is the US edition of Cloudera’s unique Evolve series of one-day live conferences held in key cities across the globe that offer attendees the unique opportunity to network with Cloudera, AWS, IBM, and Intel; the leading data industry powerhouses that are defining the future of enterprise AI.
Headquartered in Silicon Valley, California, Cloudera empowers digital transformation for the world’s largest and most innovative enterprises across all industries by enabling them to address transformational use cases and exact real-time insights from an ever-increasing amount of data to drive value and competitive differentiation.
Evolve NYC 2023 will mainly guide attendees on how to steer their data strategy and ideas from conceptualisation to production.
Cloudera ecosystem
As with every Evolve edition, the November 2 edition will see delegates networking with Cloudera peers from their vicinity and from across the globe, participating in sessions on generative AI, cloud economies, and award-winning use cases, and engaging with experts and partners who constitute the Cloudera ecosystem.
The event will take a deep dive into Apache Iceberg and open-source innovation, allowing participants to connect with big names, creators and committers in the open-source community during keynotes, guest panels and on-site engagement.
In New York, attendees will hear a keynote from Gerd Leonhard, futurist, humanist, author of ‘Technology vs. Humanity’, CEO of The Futures Agency, as well as learning the latest on data and AI trends from Merv Adrian, a former Gartner VP Analyst.
‘Growth and innovation’
Charles Sansbury, who was appointed CEO of Cloudera in August 2023, said: “Cloudera has a distinguished history of growth and innovation, and as we step into a new chapter together, I am excited for the opportunity to help the company unlock its potential in its core data analytics market.”
Sansbury stated he looked forward “to meeting as many Cloudera customers and partners as possible” at Evolve events. “I believe that success is not a destination but a journey of adaptation, improvement, and learning,” he added.
Middle East perspective
Karim Azar, Regional Vice President of Middle East and Turkey at Cloudera, said: “Our team is looking eagerly forward to Evolve New York City 2023. The success of our past Evolve events has shown that these gatherings are unique and inspiring for data and analytics leaders.
“The exclusive access to best-in-class approaches and ideas, the chance to learn from industry thought leaders and the opportunity to connect with technical innovators make Evolve events a must-attend for anyone in the data profession.
“At Evolve NYC 2023, we can expect to delve deep into the future of enterprise data strategy through customer success stories, fireside chats, break-out sessions and more. Evolve is a platform that allows us to exchange ideas, insights, and experiences, and I believe it will be an unparalleled opportunity for professional growth and development.
“We will explore innovative approaches and emerging trends to drive the data and analytics field forward. I’m confident that Evolve NYC 2023 will leave a lasting impact on our industry,” Azar added.
