General Secretariat of the Judicial Council of the Emirate of Dubai

The General Secretariat of the Judicial Council of the Emirate of Dubai (GSJC) announced a strategic collaboration with Moro Hub, a subsidiary of Digital DEWA, the digital arm of Dubai Electricity and Water Authority.

This was announced during the signing of the partnership agreement by H.E Professor Dr. Saif Ghanim Al-Suwaidi, General Secretary of the Judicial Council and Eng. Marwan Bin Haider, Vice Chairman – Digital & Group CEO of Digital DEWA on the sidelines of GITEX Global 2023, that takes place from 16th to 20th October at Dubai World Trade Centre.

In his comment on this collaboration, H.E Professor Dr. Saif Ghanim Al-Suwaidi said, “The partnership with Moro Hub aligns with the directives of HH Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, First Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Finance and Chairman of the Judicial Council, towards enhancing digital services for the Judicial Council in the Emirate of Dubai and activating  technological interfaces between the Council, members of the judiciary, the public, and all relevant authorities as part of His Highness’ emphasis on the importance of acquainting all segments of society with the supervisory role of the Council over judicial matters in the Emirate.”

H.E Al-Suwaidi emphasized that this partnership is part of developmental initiatives aimed at enhancing the judicial work in the Emirate of Dubai in line with the vision of HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai to develop and modernize judicial work in the Emirate in accordance with the highest international standards.

On his part, Eng. Marwan Bin Haider, Vice Chairman – Digital & Group CEO of Digital DEWA said: “Moro Hub is committed to supporting institutions in their digital transformation journey, and this collaboration with the General Secretariat of the Judicial Council reflects our steadfast commitment to this mission. Via this partnership, Moro’s specialized web development teams will closely collaborate with the General Secretariat of the Judicial Council to design and develop a user-friendly website capable of providing customers with comprehensive information about the Judicial Council’s activities in the Emirate and the latest developments in judicial affairs. Additionally, the website will establish a platform for delivering swift services to members of the judiciary and the General Secretariat of the Judicial Council.

As part of this partnership, Moro will be responsible for providing the necessary cloud environment to host the Judicial Council’s website, offering security, protection, and management services to ensure the continuous and effective operation of the website at all times. The company will also provide a secure environment for efficient data storage and management as part of this partnership.
