You can now book a free day pass to visit the COP28 Green Zone

Green Zone is only open to the public from December 3-12, 2023

Complimentary Green Zone day passes to visit the COP28 site at Expo City Dubai from December 3-12, 2023, are now available at http://cop28.com/tickets.

The Green Zone is open to anyone interested in climate action, public and private sector businesses, NGOs, and Blue Zone delegates and will feature conferences, entertainment, panel discussions, roundtables, exhibitions, and networking opportunities.

Visiting hours for the Green Zone hubs are from 10am-6pm, with some events occurring between 6-10pm. Children aged 12 and under are not required to register for admission.

Each Green Zone day pass will be valid only for the day chosen, allowing access only on that date.

Engagement option

The Green Zone is managed and delivered by the COP28 Presidency and is designed to allow engagement and interaction with the Blue Zone.

The Blue Zone, on the other hand, is a United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change-managed site and will be open to accredited party and observer delegates only.

The Green Zone will be open to delegates and guests of the Blue Zone, public and private sector, NGOs and the general public.

Green Zone Day Passes are unavailable for the first three days of COP28 (November 30-December 2, 2023). During these three days, access to the Green Zone will be strictly by invitation only.

The Green Zone is set to host the world’s largest gathering of climate actionists, showcasing climate-inspired interactive exhibits, art installations, film screenings, and more than 300 talks and discussions about climate change and sustainability. Visitors can connect and learn from more than 200 groups comprising private companies and civil society organisations.

Green Zone hubs will be dedicated to knowledge sharing, tech and innovation, climate finance and a transition that aligns with the COP28 Presidency’s Action Agenda. In the Green Zone, sponsors will also have the opportunity to showcase technologies and solutions and exchange ideas with partners and delegates from across the globe.

COP28 UAE is expected to convene more than 70,000 participants from across the globe, including heads of state, government officials, international industry leaders, private sector representatives, academics, experts, youth, and non-state actors.

As the Paris Climate Agreement mandates, COP28 UAE will deliver the first-ever Global Stocktake – a comprehensive evaluation of progress against climate goals.
