Chef Massimo Bottura’s first Michelin Star-awarded restaurant outside of Italy, Torno Subito, is thrilled to announce the appointment of a new Head Chef to lead its culinary team. With an illustrious career spanning over 15 years, Chef Federico Marras brings a wealth of experience, creativity, and innovation to the 1960s Italian Riviera-inspired restaurant at W Dubai – The Palm.
Chef Marras’s culinary journey began at the esteemed Ipssar Tor Carbone in Rome, where he honed his skills and passion for the culinary arts. Over the years, he has held pivotal roles in several multi-awarded and globally-recognised establishments and luxury hotels across the globe, including Dinner by Heston Blumenthal in Dubai, St. George Restaurant by Heinz Beck in Taormina, and Dinner by Heston Blumenthal in London. His dedication to excellence and culinary innovation has contributed to the elevation of dining experiences and new standards of gastronomic delight worldwide.
With a culinary philosophy deeply rooted in his childhood memories, Chef Marras draws inspiration from his upbringing to create dishes that evoke nostalgia and delight the senses. His commitment to quality and creativity has garnered praise from both diners and industry professionals alike.
