Tile Of Spain Unveils ‘House Of Mirrors’ At Milan Design Week

From April 15 to 21, 2024, Milan flourished as the epicentre of design, drawing professionals worldwide to its vibrant streets.
Amidst this creative whirlwind, Tile of Spain, in collaboration with Studio La Errería, unveiled a mesmerising installation titled ‘House of Mirrors’ at the Università degli Studi di Milano, as part of the Fuorisalone.
This innovative showcase transcended traditional exhibitions, offering an immersive experience where mirrors and structures intertwined, reflecting the diverse range of ceramic tiles from 16 Spanish manufacturers.
Designed by the acclaimed architecture studio La Errería, ‘House of Mirrors’ captivated visitors with its illusory display, showcasing the versatility and beauty of Spanish ceramic products.
The ‘House of Mirrors’ installation, a vital component of the Spanish tile promotional plan in Italy, was not just a static display but an interactive experience.
Infinite Visual Landscape
Each ceramic module, strategically positioned amidst mirrors, created an infinite visual landscape, inviting visitors on a captivating journey of exploration.
As guests navigated through the labyrinth of reflections, they encountered a kaleidoscope of images, where ceramics multiplied in every direction, highlighting their diverse formats, finishes, and colours.
In line with the theme of ‘Cross Vision’, chosen by Interni magazine for its exhibition at the Università degli Studi di Milano, ‘House of Mirrors’ pushed boundaries and embraced innovation.
Utilising less material and occupying fewer cubic metres, the installation epitomised sustainability without compromising aesthetic appeal. It seamlessly integrated into the dynamic milieu of Milan Design Week 2024, captivating audiences with its blend of artistry and functionality.
Beyond the Università degli Studi di Milano, Spanish ceramics made their mark across various venues during the Fuorisalone.
From the ‘Appartamento Spagnolo’ at Palazzo Castiglioni to the ‘Aqua: a design exploration’ exhibition in the Tortona area, the influence of Spanish design resonated throughout Milan.

Spanish companies like WOW Design and Harmony ceramics showcased their products, contributing to the vibrant tapestry of design innovation.
