ICD BROOKFIELD PLACE ANNOUNCES WINNERS OF THE THIRD EDTION OF TASMEEM 2024

ICD Brookfield Place is pleased to reveal the winners of the highly anticipated third edition of Tasmeem, the annual graphic design and poster show led by ICD Brookfield Place Arts program. This event serves as a dynamic platform for showcasing the talents of both emerging and established designers. This year’s winning designers, each awarded AED 1,000, will have their exceptional work displayed at an exclusive exhibition running from Thursday, 27th June to Friday, 30th August.
This year’s theme, “Memory Box“, was conceptualized by Emirati multidisciplinary designer Wafa Al Falahi. Participants were challenged to translate cultural treasures into visually captivating representations that evoke nostalgia, wonder, and a sense of belonging.
In an exciting collaboration with The Third Line Gallery, this year’s Tasmeem introduces a special opportunity where one talented designer will have the chance to create and sell limited edition prints at The Third Line Shop. This prestigious accolade has been awarded to Egyptian graphic designer Marina Nader Asham.
The Tasmeem 2024 winners who will be exhibiting their work include: Marina Nader Asham, Adnan Arif & Lena Kassicieh, Dana Al Sheyyab, Hala Afsaa, Hessa Naser Alkhanji, Kanaka Raghavan, Mahynour Sawa, Mezna Suwaidan, Sarah Khortbli, Shouq Abdullah Almutairi, Toka Assal and Waleed Abodouh Mohamed.
The Tasmeem: Memory Box selection committee comprised of professionals from various disciplines, including architecture, art curation, and design.
ICD Brookfield Place is proud to celebrate the exceptional talents of the winners during exhibition and witness the vibrant exchange of ideas and creativity at this year’s edition of Tasmeem.
