Mastercard partners with Esports World Cup 2024       

The event is being held in Riyadh

Mastercard is the official partner of the Esports World Cup (EWC), hosted by the Esports World Cup Foundation (EWCF) from July 4 to August 24, 2024, in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

This collaboration marks a significant milestone for the global gaming community and underscores Saudi Arabia’s rising position in esports.

Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund funds the EWCF.

Mastercard’s partnership aims to elevate the digital experience at EWC 2024, promising attendees an immersive journey filled with memorable moments and thrilling competitions.

With a dedicated focus on enhancing accessibility and enjoyment, Mastercard integrates digital payment solutions and offers participants opportunities to win prizes through various competitive challenges.

In addition to sponsoring the event, Mastercard hosts a booth within the Esports Arena, featuring interactive activations and meet-and-greet sessions with Saudi esports stars and gaming personalities. Mastercard also engages visitors with innovative gameplay experiences, including a unique team-based challenge titled ‘Gen Blend’ to promote participant collaboration and camaraderie.
