In honour of the Paris Olympic Games and the Paralympic Games to follow from August 28th to September 8th, The Bicester Collection’s La Vallée Village extended its reach beyond its walls, beyond the Seine, to support SPOT24.
This 1000 square meter Olympic exhibition of sport and urban cultures is co-presented by Paris je t’aime and the Olympic Museum of Lausanne, Switzerland, home to the world’s largest Olympic heritage collection. The exhibition highlights contemporary sports and their links with urban and artistic cultures in a fascinating, immersive journey: a space dedicated to the Olympics and breakdancing champions, a “fashion” space designed to look like a cabinet of curiosities, revealing the wardrobe tricks created by athletes to optimise their performance.
To support the magnificent celebration of sport, La Vallée Village stepped up its activities throughout the summer, and continues to invite its VIP guests to discover the exhibition throughout August and the Paralympic Games season.
Just as it has always supported emerging artists, La Vallée Village supports young, newly discovered talents and future champions across various sporting disciplines, which deserve to be celebrated. Six Olympic disciplines can be discovered in themed areas of the exhibition, including surfing, climbing, skateboarding and breakdancing.
Join La Vallée Village and SPOT24 in celebrating the extraordinary fusion of sport, art, and urban culture at this one-of-a-kind Olympic exhibition.
