New identity for Global AI Summit in Riyadh

From September 10-12, 2024

The Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA) has launched a revamped identity for the third edition of the Global Artificial Intelligence Summit (GAIN), which will take place in Riyadh from September 10-12, 2024.

This year’s summit, themed ‘For the Good of Humanity,’ explores AI technologies’ transformative potential and impact on humanity’s future.

The new GAIN logo embodies the summit’s core themes: the letter ‘G’ signifies global digital expansion and advancement, while ‘AI’ stands for artificial intelligence.

The ‘N’ in the logo highlights the phrases NOW, NEXT, and NEVER, underscoring AI’s relevance in the present and the future.

The colour palette of white, purple, and black have been chosen to represent key concepts: purple represents innovation and progress, black represents the pervasive influence of data technologies, and white represents purity.

300+ speakers

The summit will be held at the King Abdulaziz International Convention Centre and will feature over 300 speakers and AI experts from 100 countries.

The event promises a rich agenda centred around advancing AI for humanity’s benefit. Participants will discuss establishing ethical frameworks for AI, expanding AI’s benefits across various sectors, and shaping a brighter future for forthcoming generations.

The summit will be organised around eight key pillars. These will include an examination of rapid advancements in industrial generative AI, discussions on the role of governments in leveraging AI for economic growth and social advancement, and strategies for responsible innovation.

Additional topics will cover talent development, digital equity, and the intersection of AI with education, culture, and sciences.

AI’s practical applications in urban settings, including its impact on transportation, urban design, mental health, and resource management, will be a notable focus. The summit will also explore AI’s potential to enhance artistic expression and investigate the psychological aspects of human-AI interactions.

Over three days, attendees will gain insights into how AI reshapes industries and influences strategic decision-making. The summit aims to illuminate the dynamics between humans and AI, offering a comprehensive view of how these technologies drive progress and shape our world.

With the countdown to GAIN in full swing, anticipation is building for an event that promises to set the stage for future advancements in artificial intelligence and its role in improving global quality of life.
