HRE Development commits AED30 million to Dubai Cares
With launch of ‘Skyhills Astra’ project
HRE Development, a prominent real estate company in Dubai, has entered a partnership with Dubai Cares, part of the Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives (MBRGI), to support the education of children and youth in developing countries.
In this context, HRE Development has committed AED30 million to Dubai Cares. This funding will facilitate access to quality education for underprivileged children and youth worldwide.
Marwan bin Ghalita, Director General of Dubai Land Department, and Dr Tariq Al Gurg, CEO and Vice-Chairman of Dubai Cares, formalised the collaboration in Dubai City earlier this week.
The initiative is tied to HRE’s new residential project, Skyhills Astra, which was designed with a purpose-driven approach. Each apartment purchase in Skyhills Astra will contribute to Dubai Cares’ global educational efforts, embodying the company’s vision of ‘Building with Purpose.’
By linking lifestyle development to positive social impact, HRE aims to foster long-term global change.
The partnership also reflects HRE Development’s ongoing commitment to philanthropy; earlier this year, the company dedicated ten residential units from its Skyhills Residence project to the Endowments and Minors’ Affairs Trust Foundation in Dubai.
Mohamed Adib Hijazi, Chairman of HRE Development, stated: “Education is a key enabler in shaping a better future. Our partnership with Dubai Cares allows us to create a global impact through the transformative power of education. Our vision extends beyond building homes; it is about empowering homeowners to contribute to a larger mission of advancing education for children.”
Dr Tariq Al Gurg added: “Working with the private sector enhances our ability to tackle educational disparities and provides vital resources for innovation. We are grateful to HRE Development for their commitment, which will help us reach more children and youth globally.”
As part of the initiative, apartment owners in ‘Skyhills Astra’ will receive a personalised certificate from Dubai Cares, acknowledging their contribution to global education.
