Children and young people can develop lifelong skills through participation and involvement in performing arts

Razzamataz Theatre Schools, a UK-based leading provider of exceptional performing arts education for children and young people, is all set to demonstrate how performing arts can be a powerful tool for academic and personal development amongst children and young people.

Upon the invitation of the UK Trade Mission to participate in GESS (Global Educational Supplies & Solutions) Dubai 2024, Razzamataz students will perform and showcase their talents and share how the performing arts help them excel academically, boost their confidence, and enable them to develop essential life skills that will serve them well into the future.

In addition to the student performances, Hayley Limpkin, Strategic Business Coach of Razzamataz, will speak at a panel and share her insights on the topic of ‘The importance of performing arts education in schools today’. Limpkin will address the importance of performing arts education in schools and how it fosters emotional resilience and social growth.

With 25 years of experience in the UK, Razzamataz will share successful strategies on how the arts can empower young people to develop critical thinking and leadership skills.

The panel discussion is part of the GESS Talks Live Conference and will be happening on Tuesday, 12 November. Razzamataz will also speak at the Leaders in Education Conference.

“We believe the performing arts are not just for entertainment; they are a vital tool for personal development,” says Denise Gosney, Managing Director and Founder of Razzamataz. “Through the arts, our students learn resilience, teamwork, and leadership—skills that are crucial in every aspect of their lives, including academics. We are incredibly proud that our students will have this chance to showcase their talents on an international stage. We are also excited for this opportunity to share valuable insights on the value of performing arts education in schools.”

The visit to Dubai also aligns with Razzamataz’s broader international expansion strategy as the organization aims to explore franchise opportunities in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. With the objective to bring its award-winning programmes to the UAE, Razzamataz intends to offer young people in the region the chance to unlock their potential through the performing arts.
