MEBAA Show 2024 to host global business aviation players

Amid a Middle East boom

Dubai is set to host the MEBAA Show 2024 from December 10 to 12, showcasing the latest trends and innovations in the business aviation industry. Following a record-breaking year for Dubai’s aviation sector, the event will gather key regional and global players, further cementing the emirate’s position as a worldwide hub for business aviation.

Business jet movements at Dubai’s Mohammed bin Rashid Aerospace Hub at Dubai South reached an all-time high in 2023, with an 8% increase in traffic. This growth continues into 2024, with over 4,600 movements recorded in Q1 alone. The region’s booming high-net-worth population, with Dubai’s millionaire count soaring by 78% from 2013–2023, drives demand for private aviation services.

The MEBAA Show at the Dubai World Central site will feature 80% returning exhibitors, including leading aircraft manufacturers Boeing, Bombardier, Dassault Aviation, and Embraer.

New exhibitors like Mukamalah Aviation, Amelia, and MySky will also showcase their offerings. A new AAM pavilion will also highlight the latest electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) technology, marking a pivotal moment for the advanced aerial mobility sector.

Jean-Christophe Gallagher, Executive Vice President of Aircraft Sales and Bombardier Defence, said: “Bombardier is proud to highlight its presence in the Middle East, a significant and quickly growing market, by participating in the MEBAA Show 2024.”

Bret Neely, VP of Sales & Design, Greenpoint Technologies, said: “Greenpoint is excited to exhibit at MEBAA Show 2024 and showcase our innovative V-VIP interior completions.

“MEBAA presents an excellent opportunity for exchanging insights, exploring emerging technology, and uncovering trends that will shape the future of aviation. The Greenpoint team is eager to engage with valued clients and industry partners to discuss ongoing projects and foster meaningful relationships that propel business, drive mutual success, and pave the way for future ventures.”

With the launch of the VISTA program, startups will have the chance to pitch cutting-edge solutions to a global audience, driving the future of business aviation.
