Akabeko Unveils a Holiday Set Menu for the Festive Season

With festive season in full swing, Akabeko, Dubai’s first table-top Yakiniku Japanese restaurant serving premium, world-class A5 Wagyu has introduced a specially curated holiday set menu for those looking to celebrate the season with a Japanese twist. Priced at AED 900 for two people, the festive set menu is valid till December 29th 2024.

Dubai’s latest culinary gem, the bespoke Japanese restaurant located in Palm Jumeirah is a meat lover’s paradise, with a menu that exclusively focuses on world-class A5 Wagyu, showcasing the best in Japanese Yakiniku culture. Offering up to 12 different cuts that boast exquisite marbling, each cut is cooked to perfection at the guests’ table by the skilled team, bringing an interactive table-top grilling experience.

Akabeko’s holiday menu is also a culinary journey not to be missed. Guests can kick off the experience with a choice of two appetizers including Wagyu Tartare, Wagyu Gyoza, Rib Finger Yakiniku or the refreshing Akabeko Salad. They can then move on to the 4-piece sushi platter and indulge in Wagyu Nigiri and Wagyu Maki. For soup lovers, the menu features a Mushroom Dashi Sukiyaki, a hearty and comforting soup made with fresh mushrooms and sliced Wagyu simmered in a delicate dashi broth, ideal for the holiday season.

Moving on to the main event and Akabeko’s specialty, the authentic Yakiniku table-top grilling experience, where guests can experience their mains being prepared by the skilled staff on their tables. From having grilled seasonal vegetables to the Chef’s Choice Platter that features a curated selection of three premium wagyu cuts that highlight the season’s finest flavours, guests can savour rich, buttery flavours and melt-in-your-mouth textures.

Akabeko’s holiday set menu brings two decadent desserts to wrap up the festive feast on a sweet note. The Matcha Swiss Roll features a soft matcha sponge cake rolled with fresh strawberries and cream bringing a perfect balance of sweetness and earthiness. Bringing a Japanese twist to a classic dessert, the Matcha Crème Brulee is infused with rich matcha and finished with a perfectly crisp caramelized layer.

The Japanese restaurant prides itself on its sustainable nose-to-tail concept that incorporates every edible part of the meat including all the “left behinds” and “secondaries” in the dishes, ensuring there is no wastage during the process. Combining exceptional hospitality with a premium dining experience in a cozy setting, Akabeko is the ideal destination to celebrate the holiday season with loved ones.
