Dubai’s magnificent Port Rashid and iconic skyline will provide the perfect backdrop for the Emirates Dubai Sail Grand Prix presented by P&O Marinas, with tickets selling fast for the season-opening event on November 23-24, which also features live performances by huge international music acts Tinie Tempah and Craig David.
With just under one week to go, organizers will be serving up a wide selection of delicious food and beverage, and fans attending can enjoy a luxurious experience with the Waterfront Premium ticket which combines the adrenaline-fueled thrills of the finest on-water racing with the famous Nikki Beach Dubai hospitality.
The package includes free-flowing drinks, two food items from the renowned Nikki Beach bespoke set menu, and access to watch the live music acts once racing has finished.
Tinie Tempah, one of Britain’s most successful rap artists of all time, will headline on the Saturday (23 November) with soul singer-songwriting superstar Craig David taking center stage the following evening with his iconic DS5 DJ set.
Both artists will perform exclusively in the Waterfront Premium Lounge with performances broadcast live on large screens throughout the venue ensuring all fans in attendance can dance, sing and enjoy the spectacle.
There will also be live DJs to keep the excitement at fever pitch for the ultimate après sail experience.
Additionally, there are a whole host of activities on offer to keep fans busy including an opportunity to experience the feeling of racing on an F50, which includes using the on-site wheel simulators and taking on the muscle-crushing grinder challenge where you can test your fitness and strength against the team’s full-time pro grinders.
As if all that isn’t enough, graffiti artist @vazabase will be customizing fans’ caps onsite with incredible, eye-catching designs and there’s a wide range of other incredible merchandise to buy on site.
On the water, it promises to be an intriguing opening to SailGP’s Season 5, which features 11 national teams, two new teams in the shape of Italy and the Mubadala-owned Brazil, who will make history by competing with SailGP’s first-ever female driver, two-time Olympic champion Martine Grael. Spain will be hoping to make a flying start as they defend their title but the champions face huge competition with the strongest line-up in SailGP’s history.
