Football players and fans will have a unique opportunity this weekend to see some of the world’s best players in action as part of a special Manchester City Football Schools Open Day.

Hosted at 321 Sports on Hudayriyat Island, Abu Dhabi, the day will kick off on Sunday with top-class training sessions for girls aged between 5 to 16, before a rare opportunity to watch the Manchester City Women’s First team being put through their paces.

Fans will get the chance to see the likes of Lauren Kemp, Alex Greenwood, Khiara Keating, Mary Fowler, and Khadija Shaw on the training pitch.

There will also be a number of exclusive competitions taking place with top prizes to be won.

Head of Football Operations MENA for City Football Group, Simon Hewitt said: “Our Girls Open Day is an incredible opportunity to bring together female players from across Abu Dhabi and the wider UAE in a celebration of football.

“Training sessions for the young players will be top quality, but with fun, enjoyment, and inclusivity at their heart, while being able to watch the Women’s First Team train up close is something that will live long in the memory of all those attending. This is a day not to be missed.”
