MWC25 Barcelona 2025 returns to Catalonia

MWC25 Barcelona, the world’s largest and most influential connectivity event, will return for its 19th edition at Fira Gran Via in Barcelona from March 3 to 6, 2025.
The event, hosted by Mobile World Capital Barcelona, will bring together innovators, visionaries, and leaders from the mobile ecosystem and various industries, including startups, investors, SMEs, and global corporations, alongside policymakers shaping the digital economy.
This year’s MWC event will be themed “Converge. “Connect. “The programme will explore technological and digital advancements across key themes, including “Our Digital DNA,” “Game Changers,” “Enterprise Reinvited,” “Connect X,” “5G Inside,” and “AI+. “
During the GSMA Ministerial Programme, attendees can participate in impactful summits and discussions on transformative policies.
MWC25 Barcelona will feature stages named after iconic figures such as Katherine Johnson, Guglielmo Marconi, Alan Turing, and Hedy Lamarr in a nod to technology pioneers. Industry giants and tech pioneers will deliver keynotes, including speakers from Agility Robotics, Lenovo, Telefonica, Telstra, and Women in AI.
The event will also showcase the 4YFN (4 Years From Now) platform, which has supported startups for over a decade. This year, the platform will focus on AI technology and host seven programmes to accelerate startups in areas like Digital Health, Green Tech, Fintech, and Corporate Innovation.
The 4YFN Awards will celebrate finalists’ achievements in Digital Health, Green Tech, and Mobile Frontiers categories. The overall winner will be announced on March 5, 2025.
Networking will play a key role in the event’s success. Hall 6 will be dedicated to the MWC conference district, featuring collaborative spaces, auditoriums, and VIP lounges for leaders and influencers to connect. Additionally, MWC25 Barcelona will mark the 30th anniversary of the Global Mobile Awards (GLOMOs), which recognise industry-changing achievements.
Notable exhibitors and sponsors include Accenture, Amazon Web Services, Google, Huawei, Meta, Microsoft, Qualcomm, Samsung, and Xiaomi. Finally, Mobile World Capital Barcelona will introduce the Talent Arena, a learning, networking, and career development hub at Fira Montjuic.
