2024/25 ABB FIA FORMULA E WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP: R6-7, MONACO, 03/04 MAY

Jaguar TCS Racing head to Monaco this weekend for Rounds 6-7 of the 2024/25 ABB FIA Formula E World Championship.

The British team took a historic 1-2 finish in the Principality last year – the first in Formula E history – Mitch Evans taking his first Monaco win with team-mate Nick Cassidy second.

Monaco is a happy hunting ground for Jaguar TCS Racing. Evans has claimed three podiums from five events, while Cassidy has also tasted success around what is undoubtedly motorsport’s most famous street circuit, winning in 2023 for Envision Racing driving the Jaguar I-TYPE 6.

The3.3km Circuit de Monaco is regarded as the jewel in the Formula E calendar and this year, for the first time, Monaco will feature two races, ensuring double the opportunity for Jaguar TCS Racing to score points.

The double-header also means Pit Boost, new for Season 11, will return for one of the races in Monaco.

The 2025 Monaco E-Prix are at 15:05 CEST(GMT +2 hours) on Saturday/Sunday 3/4 May.

James Barclay, Jaguar TCS Racing Team Principal: “Monaco E-Prix is a track where we’ve seen great success in the past, and it feels like a home race for Mitch and Nick who are both extremely fast around these famous streets. Although we didn’t take away points from Miami, we did learn a lot about the Jaguar I-TYPE 7 and look forward to applying those learnings in Monaco.”

Jaguar TCS Racing driver Mitch Evans, #9: “I always look forward to the Monaco E-Prix. It’s one of the best races of the year, and a track where we have been really competitive previously – not least last season – and we are aiming for a positive result once more.”

Jaguar TCS Racing driver Nick Cassidy, #37: “The past couple of seasons in Monaco have provided plenty of great memories for me – including taking my first victory in the Principality in Season 9 and helping the team achieve an historic 1-2 finish last year – but we need to focus on the present and ensure we deliver. The aim is to get the Jaguar I-TYPE 7 in the right window to secure a strong points haul this weekend.”
