Celebrate Eid Al Adha with a Festive Family Lunch at Grand Mercure Dubai City

Grand Mercure Dubai City invites families to mark the first day of Eid Al Adha with a celebratory lunch buffet at Walima Restaurant on Friday, 6 June from 1:30 PM to 4:30 PM. Blending traditional Levantine flavours with a variety of global favourites, the experience is crafted to honour togetherness — complete with a dedicated kids’ corner featuring child-friendly dishes, arts and crafts, and balloon bending to keep little ones entertained throughout the afternoon.

The buffet is priced at AED 99 per adult and AED 45 per child aged 6 to 12, with children under six dining free of charge. Guests who book early can take advantage of this exclusive offer, as prices are set to increase closer to the date.

Walima Restaurant’s warm and inviting setting makes for a memorable Eid gathering. The generous buffet opens with a selection of seafood on ice — including shrimp, clams, mussels, and octopus — alongside an array of cold mezze and signature salads such as fattoush, beetroot and arugula with feta, and quinoa avocado shrimp. A live pasta station and hot mezze section provide comforting, crowd-pleasing dishes, while signature stations like chicken shawarma and a whole baby lamb ouzi bring the festive spirit to the table. The grill and carving stations feature shish tawook, kabab halabi, and herb-crusted sous-vide leg of lamb, while a robust Indian section includes Hyderabadi mutton biryani, dal makhni, and freshly baked garlic naan.

Children can look forward to a colourful food corner designed just for them, with accessible flavours and fun presentations — all served alongside the day’s arts-and-crafts activities and live balloon bending, creating a joyful space for families to dine and celebrate together.

To close, an abundant dessert spread tempts with Arabic classics like kunafa kishta, baklawa, and um ali, as well as contemporary treats such as coconut lime panna cotta, blueberry truffle mousse, and passion fruit mohalabieh.

Located in the heart of Garhoud, minutes from Dubai International Airport and key cultural landmarks, Grand Mercure Dubai City continuously offers locally inspired hospitality rooted in heritage, warmth, and meaningful connection.
