From Gooey Fun to Mesmerising Wonder: Eid Holiday Experiences for Families

This Eid Al Adha, OliOli® is bringing double the excitement to families in Dubai with the launch of two sensational exhibitions: SlimeMania, a brand-new immersive experience designed for gooey, hands-on fun, and the highly anticipated return of Museum of the Moon, a spectacular lunar installation that has captured the hearts of thousands in previous years.

SlimeMania Temporary Exhibition – Recently opened and available through the Summer

Just in time for Eid Al Adha and the school holidays, SlimeMania is an explosion of creativity, curiosity, and joyful mess-making. Designed as a sensory-rich play environment, this limited-time gallery invites children to dive into an experience built around slime, with stations for making, launching, sculpting, and even composing music with the colourful, gooey medium.

From catapulting slime to navigating an obstacle course, or discovering the sounds slime can create with Makey Makey tech tools, SlimeMania transforms a favourite childhood pastime into a multi-sensory adventure like no other.

“This isn’t just about slime — it’s about self-expression, experimentation, and pure joy,” says the OliOli® team. “We’ve built a space where children can engage deeply, create freely, and learn through play — all while having outrageous fun.”

Ticket Information: SlimeMania is included in all Standard PLUS tickets, which start at AED 179 for 1 child and 1 adult for a 2-hour visit!

First Look: What to Expect

Visitors to SlimeMania can look forward to an array of interactive experiences that combine fun with fascinating science. The exhibition features signature stations, each exploring a unique aspect of polymer science—from the stretchy textures of fluffy slime to the glowing effects of phosphorescent blends. Children can also make their own slime, where viscosity and colour transform concepts like chemistry into exciting “aha!” moments. To top it off, family-friendly slime challenges offer playful opportunities for teamwork, creativity, and friendly competition.

Museum of the Moon Returns 31st May – 8th June

Just in time for the Eid break, the Museum of the Moon by artist Luke Jerram makes its grand return to OliOli®. This 5-meter lunar replica, crafted from high-resolution NASA imagery, invites families to marvel at our nearest celestial neighbour while kids create interactive sand art in lightboxes.

“Museum of the Moon has become a beloved Eid tradition for so many families,” notes the OliOli® team. “Its return offers a moment of shared awe and reflection — the perfect complement to the high-energy creativity of SlimeMania.”

Ticket information: Included with General Admission tickets starting at AED 139 for 1 child + 1 adult

The Ultimate Eid & Summer Outing
