Harsha Jinasena – IT Manager at Radisson Resort Ras Al Khaimah wins Hospitality Innovators Award by Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Excellence Awards 2025!

We are so proud of our IT Manager, Harsha Jinasena for winning the Hospitality Innovators Award by Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Excellence Awards 2025. This recognition is more than just an honor for an individual; it signifies the increasing importance of technology and innovation in delivering exceptional guest experiences and operational efficiency within the hospitality sector.

Harsha’s journey into the world of technology began with a deep curiosity and a drive to solve problems—first in the disciplined environment of the Sri Lanka Navy, where he laid the foundation of his IT career. But it was when he entered the world of luxury hospitality in 2015 that he found his calling. At Anantara Resorts in Sri Lanka, he saw firsthand how technology could transform not just operations, but guest experiences in ways that felt almost magical.

From the very beginning, he was inspired by the challenge of turning complex technologies into simple, seamless experiences for both guests and staff. Over the past 10 years, he had the honor of leading IT for some of the most iconic hotel openings in the Middle East and South Asia—including Radisson Blu Hotel Dubai Waterfront, Radisson Blu Dubai Canal View, and Radisson Resort Ras Al Khaimah Marjan Island, as well as Anantara Peace Haven Tangalle, Anantara Kalutara, and Cinnamon Life Colombo. Each project was more than just a technical rollout—it was an opportunity to shape the digital heartbeat of a hotel and bring innovation to life in ways that truly enhance the guest experience.
