JAGUAR TCS RACING THANKS NICK CASSIDY FOR THE HUGE CONTRIBUTION HE’S MADE TO THEIR SUCCESS AHEAD OF HIS FINAL RACE FOR THE TEAM AT THE LONDON E-PRIX

Jaguar TCS Racing can confirm that Nick Cassidy will be leaving the team at the end of the 2024/2025 ABB FIA Formula E World Championship. This decision has been reached through mutual agreement between Nick and the team.

As Jaguar TCS Racing head into the season-finale double-header London E-Prix weekend, everyone at the team thanks Nick for the massive contribution he’s made since joining on a two-year contract at the beginning of Season 10, not least taking the fight for the 2024 Drivers’ World Championship down to the wire.

Nick’s Season 10 total of 176-points – including two wins, six podiums, five fastest laps and a pole position – were instrumental in Jaguar TCS Racing winning the 2024 ABB FIA Formula E Teams’ World Championship, Jaguar’s first World Championship as a manufacturer since 1991.

To date – and with the two E-Prix at London still to come – Nick has scored four wins, a further seven podiums, seven fastest laps and two pole positions in Jaguar colours. Those stats represent a total of 278 points, and everyone at the team would like to recognise Nick for his incredible work ethic, relentless determination to win and, of course, his outright speed.

James Barclay, Jaguar TCS Racing Team Principal said: “Nick is an exceptional racing driver and a very astute competitor as the world can see from his performances. He has impressed everyone in the team with his unwavering dedication to win and I’m proud of the role he’s played in our team success. On behalf of the whole team, I’d like to thank Nick and wish him all the best for a successful future – starting of course with the final race weekend of the 2024/2025 Season in London, where together we’ll still be fighting as hard as ever for points, podiums and wins.”

Nick Cassidy, Jaguar TCS Racing #37 driver said: “The decision to leave Jaguar TCS Racing has not been an easy one, but ultimately it is the right one for me personally. I’d like to thank everyone at the team for their support since I joined at the beginning of Season 10. We have fought hard and had some great success together. I particularly want to thank the engineers and mechanics on the #37 side of the garage – we’ve made some amazing memories! Looking ahead to London this weekend, we’ll work as hard as ever as a team to ensure we’re competitive and fighting for another top three finish in the Drivers’ World Championship.”
