Mall of Al Ain and Spacetoon team up for unforgettable back-to-school month of family entertainment and activities

The Mall of Al Ain, one of the UAE’s top family destinations located in the heart of Al Ain City, and Spacetoon, the television channel specializing in animation and children’s programs, have partnered for a memorable back-to-school campaign this August.

As part of the partnership, a series of special live shows will be staged every weekend throughout the month, delivering an unforgettable family entertainment experience. Hosted at the Mall of Al Ain, each weekend will feature one of four beloved characters – Miraculous Ladybug, Mr. Bean, Care Bears, and Bluey – brought to life in vibrant performances.

The exciting collaboration between the Mall of Al Ain and Spacetoon marks the first time these four iconic characters have been brought together in a single event. The monthlong spectacle will offer families a unique opportunity to celebrate the back-to-school season through engaging, character-led experiences that promise fun, laughter, and lasting memories for children and parents alike.

The festivities will also include themed, immersive zones, interactive games, and activities such as character meet-and-greets, for an exceptional experience of uplifting entertainment, music, and photo opportunities for the entire family.

Entry to the event is free, and the shows will run each week from Friday to Sunday. Access to the kids’ corner requires a minimum of AED 50 purchase at the Mall of Al Ain.

Haisam Sleiman, Chief Executive Officer of Makani Real Estate, the parent company that arranged the partnership between Mall of Al Ain and Spacetoon, said: “This monthlong celebration is an important milestone for Mall of Al Ain, not just as a retail destination, but as a vibrant social and cultural hub for the city. Partnering with Spacetoon, a beloved name in children’s entertainment, perfectly aligns with our vision to create immersive, family-friendly experiences that resonate with our community.

As families prepare for the new school year, we are proud to offer a joyful, engaging space where children can learn through play, unleash their imagination, and enjoy quality time with loved ones. From interactive shows to educational workshops and themed activities, this initiative transforms the back-to-school season into something truly memorable. The Mall of Al Ain is evolving into the mall of choice for all, where fun, creativity, and togetherness come alive under one roof.”

Founded in 2016, Makani is a leading retail and real estate company and subsidiary of MAIR Group, a leading Abu Dhabi-based strategic investment company. MAIR Group is one of the UAE’s key contributors to the country’s national priorities of food security, innovation, self-sufficiency, and economic sustainability.

Makani acquired the Mall of Al Ain, previously known as Al Ain Mall, as a landmark destination, while developing and managing more than 70 community centers that anchor local economies and social life.
