With the final days of summer approaching and Back to School season in full swing, Dubai Summer Surprises (DSS) 2025 is keeping the magic alive for its youngest visitors with a line-up of enchanting experiences designed just for little ones, and the young at heart. From water-filled adventures and whimsical stage shows to special summer camps and meet-and-greets with Modesh, families can enjoy big adventures for tiny tots before the new school term begins.
One of the season’s biggest highlights, Modesh World has been transforming Dubai World Trade Centre Halls 4-7 into an all-day playground under one roof with 118 fun games and attractions spanning 5 zones spread across 14,000 sq. m, in addition to 316 shows and live entertainment, 24 on-stage workshops, and unlimited all-day ticketed access for families this year. Children can bounce through inflatable zones, race karts, challenge friends in a retro arcade, skate on an indoor ice rink, and enjoy live stage shows and creative workshops, all alongside surprise meet-and-greets with Modesh and Dana until 28 August. Starting at just AED 25 per adult and AED 150 per child, families can immerse themselves in a full day of non-stop fun, creativity, and excitement. For every three tickets purchased, families will receive one ticket absolutely free. Esaad and Al Saada cardholders can save more with additional discounts, while people of determination and their guardians and caregivers enjoy free entry.
The Modesh fun continues at Dubai Festival City Mall with the brand-new Modesh Splash Park that runs daily until 31 August, offering six themed water play zones for every age – with two-hour session passes starting from AED 75. Families visiting Dubai Festival City Mall can also take part in the Modesh Summer Pass until 30 August, a stamp-and-win adventure that brings extra fun and rewards at participating venues including Osteria Mario, Fabyland, BOUNCE, Modesh Splash Park, and many more. While there, families can also stop by Osteria Mario for a pizza-making masterclass and special Modesh-themed menu, and explore the Modesh Store for exclusive merchandise.
Families heading to Nakheel Mall can step into a free-to-enter world of mischief at the Smurf-Tastic Fair until 31 August and explore various interactive zones like Papa Smurf’s House, Brainy Smurf’s Puzzle Room, Hefty’s Mighty Muscle Zone, Painter Smurf’s Workshop, Vanity’s Mirror Maze, PlayStation “Save the Forest” Game, Smurf Garden with Farmer Smurf, Smurfette’s Beauty Zone, as well as photo ops and meet-and-greets with the beloved Smurfs. Over at Mercato Mall, the popular Slide Into Summer Surprises continues until 31 August, together with the International Comedy Circus and Mantega Street Comedy Show lighting up the mall with daily performances full of laughter, acrobatics, and jaw-dropping stunts – absolutely free for all visitors.
Live entertainment adds even more magic to DSS this month at Jumeirah Beach Hotel, with family favourites running throughout August. Tumble down the rabbit hole with Alice in Wonderland on 21 and 23 August, or set sail for laughs in Treasure Island on 22 and 24 August. Dive into The Little Mermaid on 26 and 28 August, or enjoy the Aladdin pantomime for the grand finale on 27 August. Watch The Mansour Show bring the UAE’s beloved animated hero come to life for the first time ever in Dubai in an action-packed stage spectacular from 29 to 31 August, hosted twice everyday – at 11am in English and 3pm in Arabic.
Families can catch Modesh and Dana for their final DSS 2025 special appearances across the city. On 22 August they’ll be at Mall of the Emirates and Me’aisem City Centre, followed by visits to Dubai Festival City Mall and Dubai Outlet Mall on 23 August. On 24 August, the duo will stop by Deira City Centre and Al Barsha City Centre, before closing their tour with meet-and-greets at Ibn Battuta Mall and Souq Hatta on 29 August.
And to round off the summer, parents with little ones can make the most of DSS with over 7,500 buy-one-get-one-free offers with the DSS Entertainer, as well as unbeatable hotel and attraction offers citywide including kids-go-free deals at top destinations. Meanwhile, special DSS summer camps at Bel Remaitha and Children’s City in Creek Park keep little ones busy with endless fun.
