City Centre Deira, one of Dubai’s most iconic community destinations, is celebrating Diwali in a grand way this year with a spectacular escalator fashion show headlined by Bollywood star Nora Fatehi, as the mall also marks its 30th anniversary. Taking place on 25 October from 6–8pm, the event will bring glamour, festive cheer, and unforgettable experiences to shoppers, including the chance for select visitors to meet the celebrity in an exclusive meet-and-greet.
The celebration forms part of Dubai’s Festival of Lights 2025, organized by Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE). Running until 26 October, the festival continues to transform Dubai into a city-wide stage for Diwali, featuring breathtaking fireworks, blockbuster concerts, exclusive retail offers, grand raffles, cultural performances, Indian delicacies, and lively outdoor markets.
At City Centre Deira, the event goes beyond fashion and entertainment. It is designed to celebrate the Asian community’s cultural traditions, foster a sense of belonging, and underline the mall’s role as a cornerstone of Dubai’s social and retail landscape for three decades.
The Diwali celebrations at City Centre Deira also mark the start of a series of activities and surprises running throughout November, as the mall continues to commemorate its 30-year journey with the community.
