The Middle East’s largest design festival, Dubai Design Week 2025, returns to Dubai Design District (d3) from November 4–9, marking its 11th edition under the patronage of Her Highness Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairperson of the Dubai Culture & Arts Authority.

This year’s edition embraces the theme “Community”, aligning with the UAE’s Year of Community initiative, and spotlighting how design fosters connection, collaboration, and collective progress. Through a dynamic mix of exhibitions, installations, and talks, the festival underscores design’s role as a unifying force that bridges cultures, disciplines, and ideas.

Natasha Carella, Director of Dubai Design Week, highlighted the festival’s evolving vision:

“This year, the focus on community is about connection how creativity becomes a bridge between people, disciplines, and cultures.”

A Global Platform for Design and Dialogue

Expanding across its largest footprint yet at d3, Dubai Design Week 2025 features over 1,000 participants from more than 50 nationalities, representing diverse sectors such as architecture, interior design, graphic design, sustainable innovation, and digital technology. The event continues to serve as a vital platform for cross-cultural exchange and creative entrepreneurship within the region and beyond.

Downtown Design: The Festival’s Beating Heart

At the centre of the week’s activities is Downtown Design, returning to the d3 Waterfront Terrace from November 5–9. Now in its 12th edition, the design fair remains the region’s premier destination for contemporary design, uniting global brands, regional studios, and design enthusiasts in a shared space of inspiration and innovation.

From emerging designers to established studios, Dubai Design Week 2025 continues to reaffirm Dubai’s position as a global capital for creativity, where design, technology, and sustainability converge to shape the future of living.
