About The Zayed Charity Run
With just ten days to go, the UAE community is gearing up for one of the region’s most meaningful sporting events, the run brings together families, athletes, students and teams to celebrate unity, wellbeing and giving back. The event encourages participants to unite and create change through these meaningful stories.
Established in 2001, the Zayed Charity Run has grown into an international movement inspired by the values of the UAE’s Founding Father, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, compassion, generosity and bringing communities together.
Who This Year’s Run Supports
This year, proceeds will support three pioneering medical research programmes at the Abu Dhabi Stem Cells Center (ADSCC), advancing personalised cancer therapy, bioinformatics-driven precision medicine, and innovative perinatal treatments. The run continues its mission of promoting health, innovation and meaningful community impact.
This year’s edition is proudly supported by a number of key partners and sponsors, including ADQ, Emirates as the Official Airline Partner, Al Habtoor, e&, NORINCO and Emirates Red Crescent, whose contributions help elevate the event and strengthen its community impact.
Run Distances & Key Locations
Set between two iconic Abu Dhabi landmarks, Wahat Al Karama and ERTH Hotel Abu Dhabi, this year’s edition will welcome up to 15,000 participants across 3km, 5km, and 10km categories. Both the start and finish points will serve as community hubs, offering scenic run routes and easy access for spectators.
What’s Happening Off the Course
The Zayed Charity Run offers a vibrant morning experience. After the run, ERTH will host a lively community village featuring family activities and kids’ entertainment, live performances, food and beverage kiosks, and photo moments.
Prize Money
Participants will compete for a total prize pool of AED 1.5 million, with medal ceremonies taking place on event day across all categories.
Ticket Prices
Entry to the Zayed Charity Run is open to all UAE residents, with individual registration priced at AED 55 (+VAT) per participant and a discounted corporate and group rate of AED 40 (+VAT) per participant for teams of 100 runners or more.
Run Pack Collection
Run packs can be collected from 24-28 November 2025, between 3:00pm and 9:00pm, at ERTH Hotel Abu Dhabi. Participants are encouraged to arrive early to avoid queues.
