The UAE has called on everyone across the country to join a collective national anthem sing-along on December 2 at 11am, marking a new moment of unity during Eid Al Etihad celebrations.
The initiative, titled Voices of Unity, was announced by Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs. Sharing the message on his official X account, he wrote, “On December 2nd, at 11 AM… We sing the national anthem united,” along with the campaign hashtags.
The nationwide call encourages residents to step outside their homes, offices, classrooms and shops to join in one shared voice. The goal is to create a moment that reflects the country’s sense of belonging and togetherness across all seven emirates.
To make participation easier for everyone, the anthem has been transliterated phonetically in Arabic and English. This allows the UAE’s multicultural population to join confidently, regardless of language. The move underlines the UAE’s long-held belief that its strength lies in its diverse communities and their collective commitment to shaping a proud and united future.
