Dubai Police Highlights Smart Services at Global Village to Strengthen Community Safety

Dubai Police has launched a new interactive platform at Global Village, giving visitors a closer look at the force’s expanding line-up of smart and digital services designed to enhance public safety.

The showcase brings together several key services, including smart vehicle impoundment, neighbourhood policing, home security solutions, lost-and-found reporting, cybercrime support, women and child protection services, inquiry and follow-up tools, circulars and travel-ban checks, and access to the 901 call centre and the 04 platform. The aim is to make police support more accessible, faster, and easier for the public to use.

Major General Hareb Mohammed Al Shamsi, Deputy Commander-in-Chief for Criminal Security Affairs, said the initiative underscores Dubai Police’s commitment to staying connected with the community at major public destinations. He noted that direct interaction with residents, citizens, and tourists helps the force understand public expectations while reinforcing Dubai’s reputation as a safe and welcoming city.

He added that being present at popular venues forms part of a broader strategy to raise awareness about security and highlight the smart tools available to the public.

The platform will remain open for a month, with plans for long-term participation in future Global Village seasons. Visitors can find it near the Global Village theatre daily from 4pm to midnight.
