Rheem, a global manufacturer of HVACR and water heating products, has introduced its latest innovations to the Middle East and Africa (MEA) market, launching both its Rheem Odin Plus Hybrid Heat Pump Water Heater and Century Comfort Ducted Inverter Series.
Rheem Odin Plus Hybrid Heat Pump Water Heater has been designed with optimal efficiency in mind. This innovative product utilizes warmth from the surrounding ambient air to heat the water, allowing property developers and homeowners to reduce their energy usage and make significant short and long-term cost savings. The product is also PV ready and fully compatible with solar energy systems for further savings. Rheem Odin Plus Hybrid Heat Pump Water Heater has a Coefficient of Performance (COP) of up to 3.86, among the best in class when it comes to efficiency.
The cutting-edge product also has a rated power consumption of 430 Watts, meaning the unit only uses a small amount of electricity while delivering much higher heating output. The integrated Direct Current (DC) inverter compressor and inverter fans allow the heater to continuously adjust its power output to match demand. This makes the system more energy efficient, quieter in operation, and longer-lasting compared with traditional fixed-speed units.
The Odin Plus Hybrid Heat Pump Water Heater also boasts built-in Wi-Fi and Rheem’s EcoNet® Smart Monitoring System is offered to users so they can receive alerts, adjust settings and monitor operational status from anywhere, to maximize on savings and efficiency. The product is BMS Ready, meaning that it can be integrated into a central building control system using a standard wired communication protocol (Via Modbus RS485). Rheem Odin Plus Hybrid Heat Pump Water Heater is also very reliable, it uses both magnesium and titanium anodes to protect from corrosion and has a built in back up heating element to ensure fast and reliable hot water.

Rheem is also launching its Century Comfort Ducted Inverter Series, an advanced range built to combine effective cooling, intelligent control, and year-round efficiency.
Units are fitted with a smart intelligent control, which can identify the cooling requirements in a room automatically and adjust the compressor speed accordingly. Any sudden change in room temperature is detected, and the inverter system adjusts automatically to maintain the set temperature. This delivers precise temperature and humidity control while greatly reducing energy consumption and running costs compared to a fixed speed air conditioner.
The systems design and component design also helps reduce the overall vibration and noise level of the unit. Rheem’s inverter system includes several additional protection features and multiple pressure and temperature sensors. For example, High Pressure and Low-Pressure safety controls are a standard on all the models.
Designed specifically for the gulf climate, This Century Comfort Ducted Inverter Series provides uninterrupted cooling even during extreme weather conditions, and functions efficiently even under higher ambient or low ambient temperatures. This lineup is designed with high EER and CSPF values, providing superior energy efficiency and optimized performance across T1 and T3 conditions. The Century Comfort Ducted Inverter Series uses R32 refrigerant, a modern cooling gas that’s more efficient and produces fewer emissions than older refrigerants.
