Turkish Airlines to Resume Istanbul–Dubai Flights From June 8 Ahead of Eid Travel Rush

Turkish Airlines has announced the resumption of its Istanbul–Dubai flight services starting June 8, restoring a major travel connection between Istanbul and Dubai ahead of the busy Eid Al Adha holiday season.

The announcement was shared by Lutfullah Goktas through social media, where he expressed enthusiasm about reconnecting travellers between Turkey and the UAE.

“Meeting in the skies over the United Arab Emirates in June,” Goktas said, adding, “We are delighted to share this important development with our brothers and sisters in the UAE and our dear citizens living there. Hello again, UAE!”

The resumed flights are expected to strengthen connectivity for both business and leisure travellers, linking two of the region’s busiest aviation and tourism hubs.

The move also comes just ahead of the Eid Al Adha holiday period, traditionally one of the busiest travel seasons in the UAE, as residents prepare for overseas holidays and family visits.

Travel industry experts expect passenger demand to rise sharply during the festive break, with Turkey continuing to rank among the preferred international destinations for UAE-based travellers due to its tourism offerings, cultural attractions, and ease of connectivity.
