Dubai, UAE — June 2026 — Saudi Arabia and Turkey have signed two agreements covering logistics services and railway technology.

The initial agreement centers on logistics services and operations, establishing a structure for sharing expertise, optimal methods, and coordinating sector policies and regulations across every transport mode.

The second agreement focuses on the railway sector, addressing technical specifications, signalling and communications systems, railway digitalisation, environmental impact reduction, and localisation of railway manufacturing.

It also creates a partnership structure for developing human capacity and transferring knowledge in railway design, construction, operation, and maintenance.

The agreements were finalized after discussions in Riyadh between Transport and Logistic Services Minister Saleh Al-Jasser and his Turkish counterpart, Transport and Infrastructure Minister Abdulkadir Uroglu, who visited the Kingdom leading a senior delegation.
