The UAE Ministry of Defence has signed a strategic partnership agreement with EDGE Group to support the 46th World Congress of Military Medicine (World Congress of Military Medicine), set to take place in Abu Dhabi from November 9 to 13, 2026.

The agreement positions EDGE as a Strategic Partner for the global congress, reinforcing the UAE’s efforts to strengthen collaboration across defence, healthcare, and advanced technology sectors.

The signing was witnessed by Major General Staff Ayesha Sultan Al Dhaheri, Executive Director of the Military Health Executive Directorate at the Ministry of Defence and Chairperson of the ICMM Abu Dhabi 2026 Organising Committee, alongside Hamad Al Marar, in the presence of senior representatives from both sides.

Organised by the UAE Ministry of Defence in collaboration with ADNEC Group, the congress is regarded as one of the world’s most significant scientific gatherings in military medicine. The event will bring together military and medical leaders, researchers, and healthcare specialists from over 120 countries.

Held under the theme “Ready When Needed. Resilient When Tested”, the congress aims to showcase the latest scientific developments, strengthen healthcare systems, and promote international cooperation in both military and civilian medicine.

Through the partnership, EDGE will contribute its expertise in advanced technologies, innovation, and specialised solutions to support the congress’s mission of improving readiness and integration across vital healthcare sectors.

The collaboration reflects the UAE’s growing role as a global centre for specialised healthcare, defence innovation, and international scientific events.
