Strata Manufacturing PJSC, a wholly owned subsidiary of Mubadala Investment Company, has signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) with Brazilian aerospace manufacturer Embraer to explore new opportunities in advanced aerospace manufacturing, strengthening ties between the UAE and one of the world’s leading aircraft makers.
The agreement was signed during the Farnborough International Airshow 2026 and establishes a framework for assessing the potential supply of advanced composite aerostructures by Strata for Embraer’s commercial aircraft programmes.
Under the MoA, the two companies will jointly evaluate work packages for Embraer’s E2 family of commercial aircraft, following a structured roadmap covering technical, commercial and contractual milestones. Beyond the E2 programme, both parties will also explore opportunities to collaborate on additional Embraer aircraft platforms.
The partnership supports Strata’s strategy of expanding its presence in the global aerospace sector through long-term collaborations with major aircraft manufacturers. It also aligns with the UAE’s ambition to strengthen its position as a global hub for advanced aerospace manufacturing while enhancing the resilience and diversification of international aerospace supply chains.
