First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) has launched its first fully automated and paperless personal loan application journey through an integration with the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources (FAHR).
The service provides eligible customers within the FAHR-integrated employer network with an end-to-end digital application process, replacing several manual steps previously required when applying for a personal loan.
Through a secure connection to FAHR’s central human resources system, FAB can validate salary details in real time and automatically retrieve relevant employment information. This removes the need for customers to collect, print, scan or submit salary certificates and salary transfer letters.
Customers can complete their applications in a few simple steps, while verified and up-to-date employment data supports FAB’s credit evaluation process. The system is also expected to improve data accuracy, accelerate processing and reduce the administrative burden on employers.
The initiative forms part of FAB’s broader digital lending transformation and continued investment in secure, accessible and customer-focused banking services.
The launch also highlights the bank’s collaboration with strategic government partners to support the UAE’s wider digital transformation agenda and promote more efficient, paperless financial services.
