ADIPEC 2026 is providing a platform for regional and international energy companies to explore investment opportunities, develop projects and build strategic partnerships across the Arab region.
The event has drawn energy companies, institutions and decision-makers from around the world, creating opportunities for cooperation and knowledge exchange, according to participants.
Hussein Takhakh, marketing director at Iraqi refinery services company RQC (Rowwad al-Qemmah), told the Emirates News Agency (WAM) that the exhibition gives the company a chance to meet regional and international businesses and explore partnerships that could support its growth.
RQC aims to identify investment opportunities across the Arab region and showcase Iraq’s oil and energy expertise. The company describes itself as Iraq’s first private firm specialising in the integrated management, operation and maintenance of oil refineries.
Takhakh said RQC operates the Karbala Refinery, one of Iraq’s largest refineries and among the largest in the Middle East. The facility has achieved operating capacity of more than 102% and maintained continuous operations for two consecutive years, relying entirely on Iraqi staff and expertise.
He said the company’s participation also highlights Iraq’s oil industry experience, which dates back to 1921, and the ability of Iraqi professionals to operate and manage energy facilities and contribute to projects across regional and international markets.
