EMDAD, a prominent provider of integrated services to the energy, utilities and industrial sectors, has officially changed its name to NMDC Emdad, marking a new phase in its development following its acquisition by NMDC Group through NMDC LTS.
The rebranding brings EMDAD’s established operations under the NMDC Group identity, strengthening its position within the group’s wider portfolio of energy and industrial services.
Despite the change in corporate identity, the company confirmed that its daily operations will continue without interruption. Its existing leadership team, workforce, customer relationships, contractual agreements and operational facilities will remain unchanged, ensuring business continuity for clients and partners.
The new identity is expected to enhance NMDC Emdad’s access to the group’s technical expertise, operational resources and extensive industry capabilities, supporting future expansion across the energy sector.
Mohamed Thani Murshed Ghannam Al Rumaithi, Chairman of NMDC Group, described the development as an important milestone in the group’s ongoing growth strategy. He highlighted the importance of combining expertise and resources to deliver greater value to shareholders and business partners while contributing to the UAE’s economic development objectives.
Dr. Yasser Zaghloul, Group Chief Executive Officer of NMDC Group, emphasised that the integration reflects the group’s commitment to maintaining unified governance, operational excellence and consistent standards of safety and quality.
He added that bringing together the capabilities and expertise of both organisations would strengthen service delivery and create additional opportunities for growth within the energy industry.
